Exclucentrism
Toward a critical theory of the production of peripheral subjects

Exclucentrism is proposed as a critical category that interrogates not the content of the centers diagnosed by twentieth-century critique (Eurocentrism, ethnocentrism, androcentrism, logocentrism), but the operation by which a center comes to constitute itself as such. Its thesis is that no centrism is first European or male and only later exclusionary. It is exclucentric before anything else. Its centrality is constituted by producing an outside and simultaneously disavowing it as its own product.
The manifesto operates in ten movements that unfold a canonical postulate, a method of exposed constellations, a constellation of predecessors, an affective dimension of the promised dream and the double guilt, three vectorial operations of the system, the figure of the multiple of epistemic disobedience as a site of enunciation, a fractal geometry of violence, the Mediterranean laboratory as its most documented contemporary realization, and six methodological axioms for a situated critical praxis.
The text operates in dialogue with the essay Geothanatology (2025) and articulates the theoretical framework from which the artist’s current practice is thought.
